Michelle Hong, NP-C, is an experienced and board-certified primary care nurse practitioner. Michelle has a great history of providing exceptional care to patients 18 years and older, which she has continued since she joined Mount Vernon Internal Medicine. She offers innovative care solutions that are customized based on her patients’ needs. Michelle enjoys getting to know each patient to develop a sense of understanding and build the trust that will allow her to care for them long-term.
She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Georgia and then a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Kennesaw State University. After completing her undergraduate education, she completed her Master of Science in Nursing degree with honors from Emory University.
As a chosen member of the Veterans Affairs scholars program, Michelle also worked at several Veterans Affairs hospital locations, including the Trinka Davis Veterans Village, the Diabetes Clinic at the Atlanta Veterans Medical Center, the Cognitive Clinic at the Atlanta Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Michelle’s hobbies include traveling, trying new foods and restaurants and spending time with nature.
She is bilingual in English and Korean and is available to see both new and established patients in a quick and timely manner.
